Hola a todos. I am sure this topic has been beaten to death but I have done my research here and elsewhere and still need some clarifications.

I am moving to Arequipa on 28 Feb for a year to teach English. I still do not know where/at what type of school I will be hired. Since I am taking a leave of absence from my job here, I will not have health insurance.

What is my best option for obtaining health insurance? I know of EsSalud, Rimac, Pacifico, and local clinics - though the drawback about the last one is that I will be limited to the one in Arequipa.

My research has shown the following clinics in Arequipa:

Clínica Arequipa
Hogar Clínica San Juan de Dios
Hospital 'Tony Molleapaza Rojas' PAZ-Holandesa

As an additional note, I take prescription medications and will need to find a doctor there who will be able to prescribe the medications. Thank you.
