Hi everyone,

I am new to the job board and to teaching abroad. I was looking at the job postings on Dave's ESL Cafe board for China and noticed that TEDA Education Group have several up within February alone. I am doing my due diligence with searching online and noticed something peculiar.

The name for the school president is Jiajun Chang which is the same name for threads I noticed with online research with Songyuan Foreign Studies College. The school and president both have a horrible reputation from eslteacherboard. Also, TEDA Education Group has a branch in Songyuan as per their website - coincidence? The Skype contact provided is exactly the same as: Sai Cheng International Education Group and estar2008 posted a couple years back too. Their website also does not provide any physical address for Tianjin location. Warning bells for me.

Am I being paranoid?

If anyone has any light they can shed I would be greatful!

Thanks a bunch.

Thanks for the quick reply John.

I'm wondering if the reviews on eslteachersboard are a good source of information. (Yes, I know - take everything on the 'net with a grain of salt.)

I'd really appreciate a response with more detailed advice or anyone with experience from the schools.
