Hi folks,
Do you happen to know if your place of work is short of teachers right now? I left Oman last year (after X number of years at CAS) to take care of some business, and am ready to come back. Just can't keep away! |

People are not allowed to post about openings here in the forum. They will be deleted... and you are new, so you can't get PMs until you have done 5 posts.
I assume that the recruiters are hiring, you could try going direct to their websites? They usually have ads running on the jobs' page here and other sites

TESOL Arabia is going on right now, and is considered the start of the hiring season in the Gulf.
Keep checking the jobs board on here and other sites. I expect ads to start being posted for September start dates next month. |

Thanks for your responses. VS, I was not aware of those factors, so thanks for informing me. I'll bear them in mind in the future. |

TESOL Arabia is pretty useless if you want to apply to these jobs if you're living abroad.
I was told to apply directly to the colleges, universities if I couldn't make it to the Job Fair. That would have been a complete waste of time, to my mind. |

I'm confused... do you mean that the Job Fair is a complete waste of time or that applying directly is a complete waste of time?

Don' t be VS.
Job Fairs are great, if you are there to hand in the resumes/c.v, but not good if you live abroad and are trying to get a job in these countries.
You (collective) get the pick of the jobs and instant response, otherwise wait for ever.
That's what I meant.
