Anyone work(ed) for TATI? I'm curious how they will handle my return flight. I asked them and they basically wouldn't answer me. After a few emails, I was told to wait until after "processing" -- whatever that means.

IMO, that's not a good sign at all. If you're going to proceed, do so with caution.

Don't know about TATI but when I worked for Hawthorn they paid 75% of the return flight actual cost (not the taxes) if you were renewing or all of the flight if you were leaving for good.

Under Omani Labour law the sponsor has a legal obligation to repatriate employees at the end of the contract.

I've not heard of people having problems with this, the Omanis are very touchy about being accused of acting dishonourably and tend to pay up.

they do tend to be touchy, but they still don't tend to pay up
