First of all I should say that I have been lurking for some time but this is my first post. Hello all!
The reason I am asking this question is because I became TEFL certified last year in the early autumn season. At the same time, I was finishing up my other job in a completely unrelated field (since last September) and just recently resigned.
I have been searching for a little while now and there seem to be many different organizations, all with different stipulations and requirements of course. Yet I was wondering what the community around here generally thinks about this (TEFL online) and if anyone knows about any outfits that are hiring?
I actually had a job offer some time ago out of the country but wasn't prepared at the exact moment to relocate. I plan to relocate in the coming months and the reason I am searching for online work now is because the ability to travel and take one's work to the location of their choosing is of course appealing. However, I am entry level into the field obviously so I was also curious if the general consensus is that it is difficult to break into this market at first?
If anyone could help a bit based on their own knowledge just to narrow my search that would be amazing. Thanks. |

Wow!
Thank you for those resources. I will begin scanning them immediately. It seems quite extensive, which is very good. |
