I am looking at Baoding as a place to work/live for various reasons. Mostly due to its location. Is anyone working there or have first-hand knowledge of the city? Specifically, is there demand for private tutoring such as IELTS or TOEFL? What do private schools pay for side work? I am in a small and backwards dump now, and there is simply not enough work outside my uni job to make decent money.

Shijiazhuang is the best city in the Province, and its a nice city but the pollution just puts it in the "dump" category.
Its like an hour or so by train to Shijiazhuang.
Baoding would be ok because it is 1/2 way to both Beijing and Shijiazhuang.
After 6 years in Shijiazhuang. I could not sleep safely at night. the pollution would try to kill me in my sleep.
For past 4 years I am down in Changsha. The air is fresher than up there. I am leaving in 60 days boys and girls. |
