No Lulu or Tamimi here. Here are your resources in Jeddah:
Organic/health food aisles in all supermarkets, especially Danube, Manuel, Carrefour, and Panda. Some also have natural cleaning products.
Abazeer, the largest organic and health food store here. They have a website, google to find their 2 locations. Go to the Madina road branch, as it is much bigger.
Watania is another local organic food company, they have a small store. Google for website and location. |

| Before he was deported in a straitjacket, a Vegan employed by British Aerospace (!!!!) explained to me that eating honey is immoral because it involves the exploitation of bees. He had a hard time in the Hejaz. Vegans may find life easier in California or Milton Keynes. |

They would indeed find life easier there, but there's no need for you to judge others who believe in a vegan lifestyle. And there's no reason they shouldn't be open about their beliefs in Saudi Arabia, which could use a good dose of fresh ideas.
Anyway, does anyone know if Jeddah specifically has natural laundry detergent and fabric softener? Name brands of soap, etc. available would help. The less stuff I have to lug over, the better. |

Also, in Riyadh, there is a farmers market that we go to on Friday mornings. I don't know the exact location of it, but I'll try to find out today. I live in the eastern end of Riyadh, it's somewhere nearby. You spend so little there, and you walk out with so much. Quality is fine by me. |
Even if you can not state exact location...general land marks would help...such as buildings or nearest exit location...sounds interesting, I am curious enough to check it out. |

Tamimi in Riyadh has or had Amy's Kitchen Organics, which are great frozen meals, but they hike the price way up for importing.
They also had Seventh Generation cleaning supplies and laundry detergent.
I found an organic farm somewhere near Jeddah that makes home deliveries by subscription; I might try that. Just hope I can find good stuff at these other supermarkets since there's no Tamimi in Jeddah. |

Tamimi opening in Jeddah soon.
Anyway, I went to Manuel supermarket, the only on where I have seen natural detergent. They have products of the AlmaWin brand, mostly related to laundry, about 6-7 different products. Quite expensive, as expected.
