True, but if one has no respect for the local culture, perhaps one should not to lowering oneself to accept their money... and move on to some other part of the world.

Ah, but how many ESL teachers are immigrants? We're guests. When you're a guest, a guest getting paid, no less, it's not nice to bitch about your hosts.

So you are saying then that we can say it to all migrant workers in the UK and US?
What about immigrants who don't work but receive money from the state?
And at what stage of the process can someone who is transferring from a visa to citizenship disrespect the local culture without being told that they should go home?
Perhaps it is written in the Home-Office guidelines:
Any person disrespecting British culture within a period of X years & Y days of being granted British citizenship shall be deserving of being told to go somewhere else.
After such time, any person so saying shall be accused of racism. |
