Can you get hired with a BA English, Masters in Marketing, 7 years TEFL teaching experience (2 of which at a uni in SE Asia), US citizen, 50 years old, and NO TESOL OR CELTA???

Yep but without the last two don't expect to get a uni job!
However, having said that, there are 140,000 plus academics in universities working in this country, only 20,000 have got a PHD!

thx Otterman. I worked for Just English a year and 3 mos. back in 2011-12, of course for cash only off the books which made me constantly looking over my shoulder.

a few of my coteachers here in ?????? have got offers from TED ankara, but they do indeed have tesols. I do not. So I guess that about does it. I either get a tesol or celta or cannot teach at a uni in Turkey is what you are saying.

It's a school filled with all the rich kids. They can get tough and they will test all there limits. The first year is tough. You need to be prepare you can not afford to make a mistake Goodluck

Edit: really bitchyy

I have heard you need experience teaching the international business curriculum before they will even consider you.
