I just got a job offer from Oxford Academy in Istanbul. They will pay half my plane fare and I will live with another teacher. The apartment is also covered. I have tried to look up this school and I keep seeing mixed reviews. Does anyone know for sure how good or bad this school is for teachers? Should I just take them up on their offer to get my feet on the ground there and look for another job after I arrive? Please help!

It's not the perfect place. The apartment will not be clean. You will have duties you may not like the type of trouble you ll get. It's not an A class academy. Just go there keep people out of your business and once you find Sth better get out of there.

Problems you ll face are people trying to teach you how to teach. Administration will but in. Draw their limits stay firm you'll be fine. Istanbul is a great place to be. Night life is awsome. Just don't be too otherwise things will change.
