| I'm surprised you got ahold of the whitelist. I was told that I would have to volunteer with the CFTU for three months. I said yes and am still waiting to hear back from them. It's been months. They have t returned any of my emails. |

I also inquired about membership and was told I have to have one year of "verifiable teaching experience in China" and be willing to do 90 days of volunteer work (2 hours per day) in either Shanghai or Beijing but I live on the far East side of Beijng (jinsong) and they are on the far West Side near Peking University - Not practical for me since I have good-paying tutoring gigs that take up most of my free time now. Besides I won't have a complete year until September. They are pretty good about answering emails though - I wrote three inquiries and got back replies to all of them in about five days.
If there was a way to post images here I could photograph or scan my buddy's whitelist copy (he's one the CFTU members) and post it here. How do you post image files here? |
