new bamboo international kindergarten is located in beijing and shenyang. these guys don't have real work visas [they make them for the wrong city and the wrong school location] and ended up getting a bunch of my friends deported this summer after a police check. don't work for them.
my friend also said there's this guy edward cottam who works there and beats and swears at the kids, calls them dirty chinese and such. the bosses are too desperate for english teachers to fire him, it's absurd. awful work environment, i know two other quebecoises who left the school because this guy was harassing them too.
don't get lured in - they also just fooled an american teacher into coming over on a travel visa and when he said they tricked him and they should pay for his flight back, they were like "no, you pay for it, you broke the contract." total scumbags. figured it was high time someone posted about this hole of a school. shenyang has many better opportunities, go find work elsewhere. |

There is a edward cottam in Shenyang ....however it seems your naming and shaming without any actual knowledge of this person...

Is the new bamboo international kindergarten a Montessori like org and is it a part of Bamboo Education... a holding company .... fairly large with schools in different locations on the mainland.....why are you sounding the "hue and cry"...have you worked there .... |

bro, what kind of visa does eddie have? i assume if he's working at
that illegitimate school, he also has an invalid visa.
why not just report him (anonymously) and get his rotten butt deported?
if the cops are picking up some of the teachers, then bamboo isn't paying
the appropriate tea money. |

Without first hand knowledge of working with him or whatnot, that'd be pretty damn weak and pathetic. |
