| I thought the normal was 50% at the end of semester 1, 50% at the end of semester 2. That's been the procedure for everywhere I interviewed with, save one who would give it all upon arrival. |

there is NO normal. there is NO standard.
what happens in choudou-U will NOT be the
same as at choubro-U right next door.
but good news, everyone! it's the land
of haggling! everything is negotiable.
you want flight prepayment? well, good lucky!
it won't be easy, but it IS possible.....if you're
a damn good negotiator, can trade that off
for something they want, or have some truly
delicious skills to bring to the table. |

If reimbursement is in the contract, ihat's about how it has worked, or the first part is reimbursed a week before may 1. |
