I don't mind people saving money, but I don't think they should go to other countries and clench their buttocks. That just doesn't seem right.

Who the hell are you to tell people what you think seems right? Umm..last time I checked, we are all human beings living on the same earth and we will all die...believe it or not.

You're right, they should go to other countries and live paycheck to paycheck. Like my idiot neighbor who bought a 300 yuan ping pong paddle and then whines about how we don't get paid enough.

Just my opinion. Not every country has the same butt-clenching rights as your western nation. You have to respect the local butt culture. When in Rome, keep your butt in the same way that the Romans keep theirs, as they say.

Rome wasn't butt in a day.

Dude, you are not funny and there are few things that are more embarrassing than an unfunny person trying to be funny.

People's budget is entirely their own choice. I have been a grungy backpacker and I now enjoy more comfort. Butt-clenching cheapness is okay if you are a student or just swing that way. Different folks or different strokes!

I think China is very cheap if you only catch public buses, eat rice on the street and stay in backstreet hotels. Entrances to sights can be super-expensive though. 240 yuan for Huangshan, a famous mountain, for example! But small-town China is certainly much cheaper than 1st and 2nd tier cities. There is certainly a lot of China which rarely sees Western travellers.
