I went over on a tourist visa with DD Dragon and they converted it to a working visa with a couple months. It was no problem and everyone that I've met at DD Dragon have gotten the working visa after they get there. To my knowledge, everyone that works for the company goes over on a tourist visa first and it gets converted over within a couple months. Best thing to do would be to get some teachers emails at the school.

While I was there I was contacted by teachers thinking of working for the company. Either way, you should know pretty quickly if they are a native speaker or not.

Wait a second..THIS IS CANGNAN ACADEMY-- a franchised DD Dragon?? Is the town that the school is in...called Linxi or Longgang?? Are they advertising that it's in Wenzhou?? If it is ....run, and run fast.

I worked for a cangnan school and I think I remember a Bella. If this is the same school in either Longgang, or Linxi - they might just be saying Wenzhou as its a much bigger city but really, Longgang and Linxi are at least an hour from Wenzhou- where the 2 schools are....let me know..I'll give you details

and yes, if it is the school that I think it is...it is quite likely that the skype names you are talking to,,,are really them and not your average teacher.

Your spot on Larry. That is the location they want me to work, Cangnan, longgang.

I have just had a chat with someone from the school. Had a good chat about it...

"STAY AWAY" is simply what he put across to me.


He has definitely made up my mind.


I will be staying away from this place, even more so after seeing all those reviews you just posted.

I worked at Longgang. It's a complete circus show. I have a lot to say but not enough time to say it. Let me just say my first job..i was the only foreigner in a small city and I was miserable...I stayed for the full year and even an extra 2 months to wait until they found another foreigner to replace me because I respected them.

At Longgang...I left after 2 months without having the respect for them to let them know first. Who did you talk to at Longgang?
