Doesn't anyone see something wrong with this picture?

No experience and no experience necessary. Possession of an outgoing personality is the only requirement for employment.

They'll let you work on an L visa for awhile.

Larry Legend says that his L visa was eventually converted into a "working visa" within a couple of months. Why not immediately? Larry, did you get a resident permit too? Were you required to take a physical examination as well?

Why wait until it is too late to post something here? I found found out too late about my agent. More than 350 bad apple schools and a few dozen bad agents are all listed here at this link. And from what I see, the listed is updated every 90 days.

Just wanted to update the above... I found some other blacklists below, but I also found out that the worst offenders advertise under new and fake names all the time using "blind ads" on all the ESL/TEFL message boards and forums so people never really know who they are dealing with until a contract surfaces.

You guys already talked about the below form letter in another thread, but if it was toned down a bit I think it is a great idea. After all look at all the information they request from us. Don't we have a right to at least know their real names? They ask us for copies of our passports, so why can't we ask for a copy of their government IDs?

I already told my story about "Michelle" my Chinese recruiter who got me deported. I never knew her real name until after the PSB visa cops detained me. As it turned out the bitch had used five different names in her ads and is now on number six! That's why I think this form letter is a good idea. Those that refuse to identify themselves should be reported in this thread and elsewhere.
