I had Hip Replacement surgery at the Saudi German Hospital in Jeddah. Am I dong Ballet or Irish Line Dancing... No... but I am/was satisfied with the operatiion. The doctor was Egyptian and Chief of Surgery. A nice guy who seems to know what he was doing and talking about. The follow up care in the hospital room was good and I manged to talk them out of a Sponge Bath....too.. I have no complaints about the Doctor, Hospital or care. I can't speak for others but mine was good. |

Sa'ad is good. I had open-heart surgery there. Never heard of anyone getting knee replacement but you could ask. My experience in medic al interventions in KSA was that they can do lots - including higf-tech but follow-up is not always so good. |

gharwell1,
Could you please PM me the doctor's contact info that did your hip? I live in Jeddah. I messed up my right knee trying to climb out of that big, damn sink-hole known as Waba Crater. |

How about goose-stepping?
Seriously tho, I've used Saudi German there as well. In fact, my compound was a stone's throw away... |
