As I previously posted, it's challenging to reason with people who have a victim mentality. Hopefully, for your sake, you won't commit visa fraud in other countries you intend to work in.

It's unfortunate you're stuck and not able to take the emotional energy you're spending rehashing the same old tune on this forum and instead, using it to move forward with your life.

I have moved on friend. If you read my other posts I am just lobbying for a big sticky on page one for a Recruiter blacklist. Those sleaze agents that lie about visas and having to have a TEFL certificate to work in China. Is this such a big deal to implement?

You have not moved on at all. You're obsessing over it! This can't be healthy. Unplug your PC, go outside, and relax. Do not let your past haunt you (or this board).

I will add a name to this list... Whether it is real or not, I have not a clue, but he insisted working on an L visa is "no big deal" and "not illegal."

I was wondering how long it was going to be before a thinly veiled CFTU post was going to appear.

Frankly, I'm surprised it took you so long.

Kong I have some news for you... the ESL world does not revolve around this forum alone and your handful of friends here who love to analyze other users and label them sock puppets when they disagree with you. There are nine different esl and tefl forums that I visit regularly and David Valley is mentioned by almost all of them as is China ESL (for many years in fact). They have been blacklisted on those forums as well as the CFTU since 2010, so stop trying to attribute everything I say to the CFTU.

If I want to plug or bash any entity (including the CFTU) I will do so openly and directly without any "thinly veiled reference" as you say. Got it? I've got NOTHING to say about the CFTU right now and if and when I do, rest assured I will have no problem be direct and clear with my opinions.

You should spend more time talking about the OPs and stop attacking and analyzing ever new user who comes aboard. It is precisely your annoying remarks and the condescension by a handful of others that keeps chasing away all the newcomers to this forum. As I mentioned before, I have been following this forum quietly as a spectator for almost three years. I watched dozens of others male similar observations and then never post again.

So in the end, you, Bud, and handful of others will be preaching to the choir ad infinitum if the snide remarks and insinuations don't stop. Got it?

Bucky,

Do you look for good agents, or do you seek out scam artists?

What are you trying to accomplish? This anti-agent agenda of yours is getting very old very fast. My guess is that you'll be able to post just a few more personal agenda posts before you're banished.

One more thing: If any of these people (if they exist) are bona fide recruiters, you've set yourself up for a libel charge, something I believe this forum would like to avoid.

Alrighty, I've had about enough of beating a dead horse.

You win, all agents are evil, TEFL certificates are a complete and utter scam perpetrated by evil agents to steal your money and hook you, who is filled with a child-like innocence, into an illegal job which you have no way of avoiding unless they are on a black-list created by the CFTU.

I'm going to try my best not to reply to anymore of your shenanigans because quite frankly I think everyone with half a brain has figured out who you are and what your trying to do.

Have a good life, friend.

My recruiter was fantastic. Still texts me once a week or so to see how I'm getting on in China. We're meeting up for a drink in September in Shanghai. Good guy.

When I was a kid, and I was caught doing something bad or stupid, I'd always blame it on my brothers. 'They told me to do it!'. My mum would always say the same thing. 'If he told you to stick your hand in the fire, would you do it?'.

Maybe we could have a sticky reminding readers to carry out basic due diligence before moving to the other side of the world?

BEIJING HIGH SCHOOL NO. 80 FAO IMPERSONATORS

Here is a guy who belongs on this list although he uses two different names of "Jordan" and "Frank" and never gives a last name. He uses Yahoo and Hotmail accounts (many) and is a foreigner based in Beijing calling from a mobile phone number 86-182********

This joker claims to be the FAO for Beijing High School No. 80 ( a legitimate and famous school in Beijing) and offers high-paying jobs. But after he gets your resume and passport copies, he vanishes and and you never hear from him again even if you have a degree in education, a TEFL certificate, and three years teaching experience as my former Beijing roomie does.

Here's the kicker, if you ask him a specific question about the school, like how many foreigner teachers on on the staff? or what is the Principal's name? He gives wrong answers! He told my roomie that the Principal was Mr. Chen. When he looked it up on the internet he discovered the principal was a woman!
