If you were required to transfer classes to weekends, how did you cope?
I'm particularly interested in how much notice you go from the Teaching Affairs Dept. |

Nobody I know had to make up the day since the holiday was Monday.
We just had a 3 day week-end. |

The egg is weird!
The weirdest is the chocolate covered one with beef inside. I mean, how did they take two wonderful foods and turn them into sludge? |

I accept the gifts of mooncakes with great grace and assure the giver that I will eat at leisure at home.
Beef inside chocolate - now that a new one! |

Can't go wrong with some of those delicious inventions. As for 3 day "holidays"... heh... "you have to come in on your weekend to make up for those holidays..", "oh, thanks! sounds amazing!" |

Well the two approaches to Mid Autumn are:
1. Don't start the semester until after the holiday.
2. Ignore it by taking a long weekend.
The National Day holiday next month, should create some interesting class displacements and make-ups.
Newbes should have the Chinese holiday calendar displayed somewhere and anticipate class disruptions with late announcements being the norm.

I ate a few too many mooncakes on monday and just this morning dropped a deposit that sounded like a cinderblock hitting concrete after being thrown off a 50 story building.
Moral of the story, don't eat too many mooncakes. |

Haha! You need to eat more of the local food such as spicy noodles or hot pot to counter-act the cinderblock-like bowel movements. I have the problem of my morning dumps sounding like a panzer canon shot going off, seldomly they are solid Maybe I need to eat more mooncake... |

There is a song that is sung and it goes like this, LAAAA DUZZZZI.. dah dah dah dah duh dah duh.. LAAAAAAA DUZZZZZZZIII... once a brave lad went for a hot pot.. daaa daaa duh daaa... he ate it all, with 10 beers, and 339393 shots of bai jui... daa daaaaa duh daaaaaa.... he ate all... he made it home pinching the turtle's head with his iron tight buttcheeks.... he sang he sang a song that goes... LAAAAAAAAAAA DUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZIII!!
He hung his quivering meaty cheeks over his squatter.. he sang, LA DUZI! La Duzi! daaah dah duh daaaaaa... there was a terrific roar and small scale baijui, beer, hot pot fueled air explosion...
the young man was no more..... daaa dah dah duh da..
