Any folks with experience working with this or similar IEPs? Its a four month contract, details can be seen here:

25 teachers, about 25 students/class with low level English. They said it would be a visit/work visa.

What would you expect in terms of pay for this type of contract?

"Visit/work visa" is a euphemism for a business visa. You would be an illegal.

If the sponsor arranged a visa and let this man work in KSA, in case of any problem, mind you, the sponsor would be punished first these days.

In the worst case scenario, he would be told to leave KSA.
I guess it is quite ok to work on any visa arranged by yr employer.
You cannot open a bank account but the best thing is you could leave , as soon as you get paid, without telling your sponsor.

Since it is only a 4 month contract, I don't think it much matters whether it is a legal work visa or not. Obviously an employer wouldn't bother with the expensive procedure for this short term. It would give the OP a taste of life in Saudi and he would see if he wants to keep trying to find a longer term job there with an iqama.

Many a teacher has found himself in detention cells even when it was thought that everything was legally in order. If you want to come for the quick money, most likely you will be OK, but there is a risk. There are lots of teachers here on Business visas, however a business visa could be just one more of the variety of things that gets a teacher in trouble and generally there are a whole host of things that can go wrong.

It looks to me that this will be rural to the economic city on the Red Sea, what I'm more concerned about is 25 students/class for a 4 month intensive English program. That sounds like a sweat shop to me and could be a nightmare. What would people expect for remuneration for this type of deal?
