Hi! Im going to teach English at an international primary school in Turkey and was wondering if anyone has some kids from 6-8 whod like to participate in an email pen pal scheme where both sets of kids would practice their written English? Im also planning on doing a project on an African country > Does anyone have any useful web addresses where I could download material? |

I work with Junior kids doing a summer school. I would like to do some sort of penpal scheme with them, but at the moment I don't have very many of a suitable age!!! How old are your kids? I have 1 who is 11, and the others are quite a bit younger, although I think one or two of them would be able to cope...
I was hoping to set something up where these students could work on a project together with penpals - working over email.
I was also thinking about if I could find kids from another country, they could do projects on each others' countries!!!
Let me know if this sounds like a good plan. I have to clear it with my coordinator first too!!!

Sorry!!!! After re-reading your post - most of my kids are between 6 and 8, so that sounds perfect... |
