Warning:

Huludao Shifan Fuxiao, an elementary school in Huldudao, Liaoning province, has employed approximately 50 foreign teachers--yes, FIFTY--within the past ten to fifteen years, and fired every single one of them.

I have posted two previous warnings here, and each has been deleted. Why? Perhaps because I elaborated on my own experience at this school a few months ago.

So . . . no more elaborations. Just the math. They hire a foreigner, they fire him. They hire a replacement, they fire her. And so on. Average time in Huludao . . . perhaps two months, approximately.

Moderators, just look at the math. I'm not elaborating. Just look at the math--if you go to this school, you'll soon be fired. I'm not saying why or how--I'm not saying they take a perverse delight in firing foreigners--I'm not even suggesting that. I don't want this post deleted, because I'm posting in the public interest.

This has been a public service announcement. Nothing more, nothing less.

2 posts deleted and you decided to go for a third...that sure is a marker of intelligence on your part.

Do you have any proof whatsoever of anything your saying?

Quote:

Friends, I'm happy to tell you that my own SAT verbal section scores are unpublishable--I don't wish to boast. Higher than Harvard? Modesty prohibits me to say. That, combined with more than a decade of teaching, landed me a place at an SAT prep center here in Hanoi a few weeks ago. I went into class confident, prepared, well-presented.

Students complained. Gee--maybe I'm not tall and handsome and sexy enough for Hanoi's 16-year-old princesses? Who knows.

What can be said is that "due to feedback from students, it's been decided that it might be better if you not teach this class at this time." Or words to that effect. "Feedback from students" is verbatim. It's predictable. It's the local way of saying "you're not likable enough--get lost."

How do you expect anyone here to take you seriously?
