Hey everyone, i've been reading post on this board for a while now and can't find any info on immunization required. Anybody have any recommendations? I have Hep B, and Tetnus(sp?). Anything else you need, like typhoyd(again sp?)

Hi -
I'm heading off to china in a month or two - i've been getting the following shots -
rabies (pre-exposure - course of 3 shots which minimises the treatment if you get bitten, which otherwise is quite hardcore)
measles, mumps, rubella
tetanus
Hep A
Hep B
Meningitus
The lovely lady with the giant needle said I wouldn't need Japanese Encaphalitis unless I was going to small time towns (less than 10,000 population) for more than a month or so...
But I would just go to a doctor and tell them where you're going etc and they should advise you.
