My girlfriend and I are off to Toronto next week to interview with ECC. Previous posts regarding what to expect have been helpfull, though she's a bit daunted by the English test. Anyone know of any websites that could help her (us) prepare? |

Try www.usingenglish.com
If you can get yourself to a university bookstore, pick up a copy of one of Betty Azar's grammar books ( the one that would be most helpful to you is probably the one with the blue cover- can't remember the title offhand though) |

So, if you can find it in a bookstore or a library, it will be worth your time to browse it for a little while. It helped me more than my little Writer's Reference did. Things were explained in text rather than mostly listed, and the writer's reference got annoying when it kept mentioning that ESL or ESOL students have a hard time with "insert grammatical topic here," and said it for everything!
Good luck (c: |

I think there is a substantial spelling part to there test. You get to choose the best option. Ie. 'pronounciation' or 'pronunciation'. Take care with words with (possible) double letters in them like tomorrow. Not too sure of my own spelling.
