In China I used on GoAgent with Chrome and as a back up, Express VPN. My question is should I sign up for a VPN prior to coming to KSA? are VPN sites blocked? |

Sign up for StrongVPN
I've been using this VPN since 2010. It works fine. No problems at all. I use the same account on two different computers (Macs). Sometimes it's a little spotty, but usually it's great. |

I use Strong VPN too. Haven't had any problems with it. You can choose online the area that essentially is the strongest to receive your internet from. Strong VPN essentially gives you an American or British or wherever you want IP address. I signed up after I came to the KSA without any problems. Other than porn there is very few sites that the Saudis block, Dave's isn't blocked. |

Surprised. A colleague and I had nothing but trouble with Strong. We switched to Express more than a year ago and have had no problems. Furthermore you can choose among about 40 servers worldwide, changing to a different one very easily. |

Strong VPN works very well for me, and they have excellent customer service. |

a while back they had problems with connecting using the Log in ID and Password. That was remedied. Also they have multiple connection sites and some are not so strong as the others. I now use a NY location which is very strong. |

you can sign up while you're here. I signed up for IPVanish but now use PrivateInternetAccess (PIA) and have done for over a year now. Works fine for me. |

Radient One, are you familiar with Chrome's Goagent? It tunnels under the Great Fire Wall. And it's free. Do you know if it works in KSA? |

Do any of these VPN keep a log? Do they share your information with others? Security is always a concern, so once can never be too careful. |

PIA is often touted as one of the best by those in the know because it keeps absolutely no records whatsoever. It's one reason why I chose it. |

BillyBaddusky: not familiar with Goagent. If I wanted anonymity, I'd probably try the the TOR browser https://www.torproject.org/ |

I just read your post and tried this (for research purposes only) and it most definitely did not work from my office computer. It froze my internet access completely until I disabled it.
NB It was during my lunch break and I only tried it on the Grand Designs show, nothing naughty. |
