Is it this KIS?
http://mykunshan.com/2010/09/27/the-kunshan-international-school-2.aspx?results=1#SurveyResultsChart

There is a parent report if you scroll down and it looks like a legit International although no mention of non Chinese students or teachers.
A legit International would have no difficulty letting you speak to other FTs.
Unless you are to be a native speaker assistant to a Chinese subject teacher, an international would expect home country teacher quals and registration.
Given the date I expect you are wanting to firm up quite soon.
No red flags that I can see.
Half the tuition in Chinese and half in English is standard in Internationals.

Avoid KSIS like the plague. Poorly run; will try to avoid reimbursing teachers for visa costs; and no one in charge seems to have a clue about the most basic facts of life in China (e.g., cost of a doctor's visit).

There are better schools out there.

The cost of living in Kunshan is as great as Shanghai, but we have far fewer perks... If night life or socializing with westerners is a priority, consider passing on the job.

KSIS I worked there too. To say that the "coordinator" is unqualified is an understatement. A more suitable discription is "lowlife hiding in China" how he was placed in this position is beyond me. Long time teachers there love to gossip in a distructive tit for tat tatle tale way.

Avoid like the plague. turn over rate is unbelievable.
