Is it possible to process these whilst outside of the Kingdom, for example at a Saudi Embassy. Or, by definition, do they need to be procured and processed from within the KSA? |

For starters, their system would indicate that you're already out of the country. Plus, you'd have to reenter KSA in order to depart on a final exit visa. The processing for a final exit visa doesn't take long to process once you've closed out your accounts and indicated when you'll vacate your housing. |

Your employer provides the exit visa after you have terminated your contract in a manner that is satisfactory to them. Also Labor will not allow an exit visa until they are satisfied that you have been given all that is due to you (for real) So keep in mind that you don't want to plan the end of your contract and something else back to back. |

How about final exit visas for family members? i.e., the worker remains but his family have had enough? Has anyone done this since the advent of e-services? |

and what happens if those dependents don't return and their iqamas are never returned either? Any penalties on the sponsor (i.e. the husband/father)? |

As I recollect there is no penalty. If your dependants, on your Iqama, stay out oif kingdom beyond the return date on their visa, they will be removed from your Iqama. You want them back, you have to start the papertrail from the beginning. Maybe not on paper now ! It is all in cyberspace ! |
