I thought I did everything by the book. I admit there are things I still dont know. But I left my last company "W" in the right manner, received my release letter, but low an behold my permit was not cancelled and my visa expired Dec 31 2014. My new company "X" begin processing my M visa, but now they are making me foot the bill for me and my childs visa's, and oh I have to do a Hong Kong run, because company "W" didnt cancel the permit before Dec 31.
My question
Got a job offer from company "Y", we must leave for Hong Kong by Jan 30 to satisfy my M visa requirement.
1.Should I just go through the process and give company "X" the proper notice required after my return?
2.Will I be able to, without issue switch from company "X" to company "Y"?
