This visa thing is serious here isn't it?
In ROK it's common to work without visas. Illegal but they are not very hot on checking up on people.
In Japan I expect it's more risky. I have long term plans to work in Japan. I want to do an MA and maybe work in a University for a while. Possibly set up my own school if I can get some backing and so on.
It's not just a stop on 'skarp tours Asia and pretends to be a teacher'
Getting caught is gonna mean deportation, blacklisting and I guess a fine....
It surprised me to get offered a part time gig even when I'd said I had a tourist visa...I politely declined

Skarp, walk in cold to schools and ask to see the director. You have nothing to lose and you will start to feel comfortable doing it after awhile. Just don't look desperate. |
