Hello,
I have a new student who wants to attend one of the int'l high school programs in Shanghai next term. He has an oral interview coming up after CNY. Aside from introduction questions) can anyone give me any ideas of what types of questions the interviewer might ask him so he can study over the holiday?

No. Because the test is meant to be an assessment of his ability to communicate in English. If your student wants to memorize answers and regurgitate them on a test, tell him to stick to the rote memorization chinese style of education.
Before people get mad, imagine if he gets accepted because he memorizes an answer. Then he gets there and he is lost becuse he was accepted under false pretenses. He will most likely not be successful. Oh and its a nightmare for the teacher too. |

| Actually there are several books that have as many as 900 questions... can't remember any sources, but I have used them in prep sessions. |

IELTS superior speaking 4 I think was one of them I have sued in the past. |

| Sounds like an appropriate action to take if the book is helping students fake their English proficiency. |

The student can actually speak pretty well. He was just wanting some review materials in which he can review just to confirm his knowledge on what he knows. Thanks for the resources. I'll check them out and download if possible.
No need to shoot the messenger. Geez, some people just get all bent out of shape over nothing

Nope cuz, what you may view as trivial, unimportant, insignificant, inconsequential, petty, minor, no account, of little/no consequence, footling, pettifogging, incidental is pretty much their whole world. Note when yo9u mis-type, it seems to lay confusion at the feet of at least one posters
