Hi,

What are Russia job options for a US certified teacher with no experience? Anything better than McSchools?

Searched the forum but couldn't find answers. I don't qualify for the top international schools, but what about lower tier? What is their pay and compensation like?

I take the general silence to mean "Go to China, Not-So-Young Man"

What is meant by a US certified teacher? Qualified to teach EFL? Or something else?

Probably a core subject teacher, which is off-target for EFL gigs but might be useful in low-tier international schools (teaching math in English to grade 6-ers, for example).

Dunno if McSchools hire without a CELTA?

Sasha,

I meant if you have a teaching license from my home country (the USA). I will be Bio, Chem, Physics certified (but with degree in humanities), though I'll be able to add an ESL cert.

Thanks.
