| If you renew with the same school, you should not have to go to Hong Kong for a visa renewal. They should be able to renew your Residence Permit in the city which you are currently working. That's one less expense you'll have to worry about . . . unless it's a shady school. |

| Yes, that's what my manager said also, which makes it a little more worth it. Just renew locally. |

If I was your employer I would be trying to resign you too fast. They pay for nothing outside of your salary and work you full time.. You are a cash machine for them.
See if they can do as others have suggested and try to work on the benefit side if they won't budge on salary. You have to have something lined up as a back up in case they won't budge. Show them other offers. It's not as easy to recruit people who will take these kind of deals as in the past. |
