Hi Tazz!
I currently split my time living in China and Hong Kong.....
I don't know if you have any experience of what counts as a 'disco' here (outside of the Big 4: Beijing Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen) but let me tell you the music scene/club scene is not fantastic and is getting smaller...so for example I haven't been to/found any good to go out to in the last 6 months!
The Hotel discos..... visiting business men and a guy playing pre-recorded CD's?? Ha! |

I don't think you meant to start a new thread.
But Oman's nightlife will be but a fraction of what you now have. Plus, there is significant pressure right now to completely ban alcohol. Sur is also off the beaten track, so even quieter than Muscat. For night life, Dubai is really the only option.
