I have my first skype interview with these folks today. I was wondering what you have heard about them?

An ex-employee made this video of them

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4Lmj3G5FHk

Beware their salary is lower than advertised as you have to put 20 large back into the union coffers

Hmm, definitely seeing the cons here. I'll proceed with caution. Anyone else here hear of them?

Thank you for letting me know about that, Mitsui. I checked out the post. Thing is I saw a lot of posts about the other big companies too, like Aeon.

It's hard to tell which of these companies is the best or, to be more realistic the least..bad.

some of the reviews for them on glassdoor give them 5 stars but from the way that the reviews are written it is prolly the employees who run it writing their reviews

I don't know if I'm thinking of another company, but if I remember correctly then they think too highly of themselves. The interview length and requirements are absurd.

From what I can tell by being on here and talking with a lot of EFL teachers in Japan, many people think really highly of themselves Wink
