				| Hello Everyone,
I'm conducting a very quick survey to get a snapshot of the working conditions for TEFL teachers in Japan. The aim is to build up an accurate picture of TEFL teacher salaries from country to country.

The survey is completely anonymous, contains two very simple questions and will take about 30 seconds to complete.

 http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/1888608/TEFL-teacher-work-conditions-in-Japan

I'd be forever grateful if you took a moment to complete it, many thanks in advance!

 Richard

				| Before I take your survey (which folks folks folks!!! ABOVE is supposed to be anonymous!), why are you conducting the survey? Will your results be published or who are you gathering the information for?
 Thank you!

Kind of... Still, sharing salaries isn't the aim of this thread.

				| Based on the countries the OP has posted this "survey" in, I suspect it's for personal purposes. The OP is likely trying to get an idea on what he could potentially earn teaching X number of hours. | |

				| So, mostly teachers with above average incomes (the top 5 have decided to share publicly).
And don't be a dick nicenicegaijin, we already know you are well above the average earner -- or a troll. I'm not sure which.

				| He's a troll.
I also shared my information in the poll. I don't feel like having a cock waggling contest though so I wont be sharing publicly.

Needless to say, it's not as much as MAteacher.

No I am not, the only people who call me MAteacher and a troll are ALTs. So, I am assuming you are an ALT? correct me if I am wrong. Some of the ALTs that harassed me and accused me of being mateacher were banned, so please stop it.

As I previously mentioned I am a university professor and also teach 2 koma on my research day, my research day alone nets me close to 1 million per year, that is why I pull in close to 800.000 per month. However my monthly salary is much lower than that, so I live on less, but when I get my bonuses, I save them.

				| Tenured professors still get a lot; MA holders at uni less than before. Commercial language schools in the 200-250,000 range: barely enough to get by.
