Hello Everyone,
I'm conducting a very quick survey to get a snapshot of the working conditions for TEFL teachers in the UK. The aim is to build up an accurate picture of TEFL teacher salaries from country to country.
The survey is completely anonymous, contains two very simple questions and will take about 30 seconds to complete.

I'd be forever grateful if you took a moment to complete it, many thanks in advance!

I should also have mentioned that once all the data is collected the plan is to make an infographic comparing all sorts of factors in the various countries (take home salary, number of hours worked, price of coffee, beer, meal in a restaurant, rent, etc). I nearly have enough data to make the study viable and I'll be sharing it on all the forums I've posted as soon as it's done.
The hardest genuine data to come across is:
- what is your take-home salary?
- how many hours a week do you work?
These are the only two questions in the survey above.
I hope the final result is interesting/useful for those considering TEFL or those already working in the field. |

"My" take home salary is about 4X that of a CELTA qualified newbie. My work hours per week are about 1/3 of what newbies work in the country where I'm located (not the UK). The survey doesn't take into account qualifications or experience, so it's not going to help anyone much. |
