Hi all,
Hope everyone is well.
I have the possibility of gaining a teaching position in Chanthaburi, Thailand, and was wondering if anyone teaches there? Or, has had the pleasure of doing so, and if so, what was their experience like?
I am in the process of trying to weigh up my options so any information/guidance would be most appreciated.
This will be my first teaching abroad experience as well.
Thanks in advance.

Chanthaburi is a typical BURI in Thailand....a TOWN that is fatmous for Durian and flowers...nothing much else around for newbies...some nice beaches on the coast...lots of government and private schools in the area offering Baths 30,000/Monthly or so salary....few other benefits available...like free school lunches and THAI health insurance. Enjoy the land Of Smiles! |

I do not mind the idea of a quiet place or town - and I guess... the hustle and bustle of the bigger cities is only a few hours away.
Thanks for your response!
If anyone has any suggestions tips/ideas that would be great as well.
I am still waiting to find out which school or language centre it is.
Cheers! |
