I just did a Google search
Saudi "work visit visa" OR "business visa" English Instructor
I restricted the search to job postings within the last month.
I only found 2, IIL/NITI (Al-hasa) and Shabaka.
I am a little bit surprised there are only two. I though these kinds of job offers made up a good percentage of the all jobs offers in KSA.
I know the legal status of this visa, of course.
My question is how come I only found two?
By the way, Shabaka gives a CHOICE of visa type in their latest ad here on daves. It says work visit visa OR employment visa. But when I asked directly, Shabaka said employment visa.
Is this just a play on words? |

Simple answer: A visit visa is not appropriate for employment purposes. That shouldn't come as a surprise to you.
As for Shabaka, they may be using a recycled old job ad from a time years ago when some companies were known to bring teachers on business visit visas. Times have changed. |
