What you say makes no sense hdeth.
Chinese people can't pick accents. So how do they know if the accent is that of a native or not? The accent is not what is important. It's the speed, pronunciation and clarity of the speaker.
Or are you telling me that Aussie twang, Cockney slang and Southern drawl are all the same and equally easy to understand, just because they are used by native speakers?
The US, Canada, UK, Aus, NZ, SA all have wildly different accents from each other and some natives are really hard to understand. So can Chinese people understand all of these but not a neutral accent from Scandinavia? Weird, huh!
Sounds like natives trying to justify their pay checks just because they are natives. Worrying. |
