Are you all really that stupid? There are plenty of non-"good lookers" and plenty of "good lookers" all over. Every girl in Chongqing is a Chongqing girl and every girl in Chengdu is a Chengdu girl? Sounds like you are all talking about whores or something. People move, Chongqing is massive and Chengdu is large, how can you evaluate a beauty level between two places that have historically been intermingling?

Sorry, but this slope has gotten ridiculous at this point.

I agree with this post. I've been to at least half the provinces in China and found the hot and not so hot looking women everywhere I've been. And as you mentioned all the major cities have so much in and out migration it's impossible to tell by looking who's from where.

Perhaps they're just not my type or something, but seriously, it was hard to find a girl I would call sexy or beautiful in Chengdu. I'm not talking about finding a girlfriend but just looking at the girls on the streets, even in the posh shopping districts my girlfriend dragged me to. Just my humble opinion but Chengdu had the worst looking girls, by quite a margin, of anywhere in China, except for Chengdu's Tibetan population. Many Tibetan girls are quite easy on the eyes.

Next you're going to be saying you can't compare Japanese girls versus American girls or something like that.

I'm not sure I could deal with either due to the air pollution.

I like dirty women breathing dirty air and having dirty thoughts.....dirty girls are the world...remember the dirtiest cities have the dirtiest girls... they drink smoke and don't go home at all....hdeth, have no concern, as you age....your standards will stand at ease.....

Remember this saying from my cousin Homer...."A true lover don't cull nuttin".......you see I'm from the south and even though it took some time I have learned to appreciate a "biscuit" eattin woman....even though I was not into "Jack Sprat's" wife's silhouette, I learned that a woman is not what she eats but rather her personality is how she uses the extra love handles that she provides to her suitors.

Oh god man, no no no! If you're into the fat chicks, er.. curvy or whatever you want to call them then good on you. More selection in the old country. Over here I find the beauty/personalities actually quite better than the ones at home. If you don't run into super rich spoiled Chinese girls then you'll be fine. Most of them you'll get along quite well with, maybe not the most exciting, but not obnoxious. The differences are huge, bar none. The fat chicks at home are not always nicer too, a lot of them are super rude too because they think they're sexy.. rofl. Thank you fat acceptance for providing the world with the gnarliest women. Thank god it's not like this here and women take some time to beautify themselves.

Also, there is definitely a difference between the boys/girls from the North and South, can we ate least agree on that? Southerners are shorter and darker than the Northerners. That is an obvious visual difference. The closer also you get to the SEA countries, the closer the people get to looking like them. Visit Sanya and you forget you're in China.

What are some of the top employers there? Is it easy to get a job if you show up and apply in person?

Nothing really outstanding that I remember but the long time locals would hit the bricks with a handful of resumes in July or August before all the students came back and would always find another gig. The early bird catches the worm. Late August might be too late. Standard language mills: Meten, Web, EF, New Oriental. Chongqing University is usually looking also.
