Ah! IHOP Celta sounds like a great place. Although recycled oil is not exactly good especially heavily recycled oil. |

Considering taking this course in Feb-March.
How is the pollution in Chiang Mai in February (I've read March is the worst, so February might be pretty bad as well)?
Would this location be a bit better (pollution wise) since it is slightly outside of Chiang Mai? |

I looked at the IH Bangkok website for information regarding their eight-week full-time intensive Delta course and saw for their upcoming Delta course in the fall, it is in Chiang Mai. At first I thought "Nooooo! I would only want to be in Bangkok!", but after learning more about IH Chiang Mai's "resort-style" atmosphere outside of the Chiang Mai city center, I quickly did a 180 in my thinking and realized the sheer brilliance of that.
As previous posters in this thread have pointed out, that is ideal to just limit distractions and get on with things in the course--I actually like this idea a lot. I also like that it seems to have everything set up there regarding room and board--not worrying about any of this and just go and study with singular focus.
Go and get a Delta and then travel around SE Asia. Get a 28-day visa for Myanmar, spend four weeks in Burma, and then hit the conference circuit of ThaiTESOL, LaoTESOL, and CamTESOL in January and February.
Sounds all right. Sign me up.

Sounds fine to me....are you planning to use your DELTA looking or teaching work in Thailand or abroad? |

I wouldn't plan to stay in Thailand, but I would plan to use the Delta to look for jobs in Asia.
