Any update on IIL? I have read the previous posts. Just wondering if anyone can report as to any improvements that have been made.
IIL is the employer on record, but Kratos is the prime contractor. Apparently, they are trying to make improvements by securing a new compound in Jubail for employees (teachers only) and by providing better shared transportation (4 teachers to a new Yukon type SUV).
The job is teaching Navy cadets at the naval base in Jubail. How are these students?
The pay is OK, comparable to other military outfits but not as good as Raytheon SALTS. I would like to hear from current employees....teachers working on Naval base employed by IIL/Kratos. |

The students are likely to be fresh out of high school (if that) bedouins who spend more time being nocturnal and making excuses for not doing anything related to English than anything, and fall asleep in class constantly. Not to mention the levels are likely to be very very low. |

Low levels are OK...management that supports the teachers goes a long way towards making sure that some learning can take place.
Any word from anyone still teaching cadets for IIL and Kratos? |

I too am seeking any information from teachers currently employed at the Naval Academy. I would like to know if the Kratos ILL contract has left no teachers at the Academy. As it sounds, there will be an entirely new staff going online in September. It sounds like there will be a transition to hi-tech teaching which sounds great. I taught for SALTS and Vinnell, so no need to fill me in on anything I already know.
How about salaries and family visas?
Conditions on the compound?
Classrooms?
Turnover rate and why?
Any responses would be most welcome.

Yes, this answer is very true GJ, especially for women.
Strange this turn-over/retention rate figure is never, or almost never, mentioned here as crucial, though for the picture of KSA jobs, for women especially, it is the elephant in the middle of the room [if it makes sense]...
Strange how desperately well people mask the truth without any prior mutual agreement yet as if upon mutual agreement.
Difficult for me to understand why it is, yet it is.

Extraordinary comment. Is the turnover rate low or high? Would a low turnover rate be attributable to the Magic Kingdom? |

Dear balquis,
Just so I understand - are you saying that anyone who posts here that he/she spent a tolerable or (Allah forbid) even actually mostly enjoyed their time there is "masking the truth," that only posts that tell how bad/terrible a place it is are "the truth."
Regards,
John |
