Things related to Japan? Btw, it's not Tokyo, as the person says it's Soka in Saitama. Sorry if this is you dynastar, but the Youtube poster seemed a bit arrogant. Oh, look how amazing my flat is:

"Most Japanese apartments are pretty weird, but mine takes the cake" Mr Ethnocentric says. It is a nice apartment though.

After the first few seconds, I turned the sound off Laughing

I've lived in two houses and three apartments in Japan, and I currently have a two story house. Every space is different and has interesting solutions to storage, lighting and distribution of space.

My current house has massive oshiire, so all my futons, equipment, files, sewing and hobby things go in there. My tatami looks spacious and uncluttered. My favorite home so far.

It's kind of sad, but I was hoping for something from nicenicegaijin to help liven up things.

I assume it's not a typical apartment for English teachers?
