My manager/DoS in my last job was Filipino. He was superb, as a man-manager, but more pertinently here, all of our students loved him.

I am glad to hear that a Filipino did well, but I think that it is by no means an easy place for one to do so.
i don't hate China nor PRC Chinese. I just dislike many things about them.  |

Second that.
I'm still trying to find my groove in Asia, after three years in Taiwan and 11 in the PRC.
Would love a combo-job: some teaching, plus something else (but not in mainland China). |
