Hi all.

I often have trouble falling asleep ( about two nights a week), and here at home I usually take a prescribed med that is "non-habit" forming or a herbal supplement (Melatonin etc.. but that doesn't work so great).
When I travel to KSA, I do not plan to bring ANY meds (either prescribed or herbal) out of fear of being stopped.

SO:
Can I obtain a sleep aid either over the counter, or can I be prescribed something more effective….

by the way the medicine I am prescribed here is banned in KSA. I can live without it, but my sleep is very precious to me Smile

Thank you all for your time Smile

See the recent thread, "Over the counter meds" (http://forums.eslcafe.com/job/viewtopic.php?t=111818). Either bring a year's supply or have your doc write a prescription for a more common med indicating the generic brand name.

You may find it difficult to get this medication in KSA. Are you sure that you want to come ?

I've had anti-histamines prescribed for sleep.

It's all in the mind. Even melatonin makes users feel groggy the next day.
