Hi,

I am currently on the monthly abono for zone a costing 54.50....just use it for metro and occasional bus....

Am looking at a job in ZOne B2....I would have to take a Cercanias......Is the Cercanias included in the Abono? I am guessing there is a more expensive abono that extends beyond zone A.

It would be a massive help if you told us what city you're talking about. Madrid, Valencia and Bilbao, among others, all have metro zones, abonos and cercanias.

In Madrid the Cercanias is included in the Abono de Transportes. Does your employer reimburse you for it?

If it's Barcelona, it would be valid for local trains, provided you're not wanting to use it for more zones than you paid for. If you paid for 1 zone, you can't use it to travel 2.
