Hi there. Has anyone heard about the teaching positions available @ LaSalle College (of Design) in Shanghai?? 
I'm trying to decide on taking a year long contract there as an ESL Lecturer but I'd like to find out a bit more about the school. Has anyone taught there of know anyone who has?? Any info about LaSalle or ideas about finding more about it would be appreciated.

I beleave that school is tied to Raffles and never would I work for them again...
The experience of English teachers in Changchun Raffles is "the rug being pulled out form under them" and a lot of the schools (Raffles) have a high turnover...Changchun has gone through 5 or 6 teachers in the last 6 months...
Plus you have to deal with a god persona named Scott in Shanghai...not a good man...and if you dont bow and scrap he will lay you off in a moment. |
