Dont forget humorism. Are you sanguine, choleric, melancholic, or phlegmatic?
Phrenology was a thing for quite a while too. |

A, very personable and down-to-earth, DoS and training consultant (not sure if that is the title, it could be something less ethereal) I know says she uses it as part of an assessment when developing teams.
I agree the outcomes aren't solid and will change according to a person's decisions on that day, and so I would doubt it can be used for longer-term purposes. |

I'd personally be highly suspicious of a candidate who blew his 'extrovert' trumpet at any stage of the job application process. Wouldn't be an asset in my context. |
I'm with Spiral on this one. If someone told me they were an extrovert, it would make me wonder if they ever shut up enough in the classroom to let the students speak...
Besides, out of all the characteristics you would want to claim for yourself (and it's only really a claim unless you can back it up in your application materials), why choose extrovert? Why not "thoughtful", "reflective", "thorough", "good communicator", "flexible", "patient", etc etc... |

Dear In the heat of the moment,
But I'm a "very personable and down-to-earth, DoS and training consultant . ."
too, yet I think Tarot cards would do as good a job - or maybe better.
Regards,

Dear In the heat of the moment,
Had to google that one:
"horses for courses
phrase of horse
1.
BRITISH proverb
different people are suited to different things or situations."
Thanks for adding to my vocabulary.
Regards,
