Anyway, back to the thread, and it won't be long till the conference.

The day of the conference is drawing near. The HoD is practicing his b/s and turd polishing. The Actor is organizing the refreshments; and The Fraud is hiding.

Fortunately for TTC, qualified men from places such as Crawley, Middlesbrough, and Swansea are doing the real work!

Further to previous posts, does anyone have information as to whether the TESOL Arabia Conference at TTC actually took place?

Did anyone attend?

I couldn't find any references to it online.

The meeting did, in fact, take place. It wasn't publicized, though. I briefly popped in, but it was the same sad "crowd" of no more than twenty-five bored souls having been dragged in by the organizer ("HOD" English at the venue, TTC Riyadh), similar to the inaugural event a while back. Uninspiring, lacking any depth or credibility, a total waste of time in MHO. I don't know how TESOL Arabia can continue to lend its good name to such utter nonsense. Anybody else got any feedback?

The whiners were at this conference and they got nothing out of it because it had a positive spin to it. If you cant contribute something positive to the discussion then say nothing. negative energy by Lord T and his comrades can really be a downer. Standing on the outside looking in and booing really isnt constructive. then again, misery loves company!
