Does anyone have any experience with this program?
Can anyone compare it to Sunderland? |

| Personally, I would go for any on-campus program not online.. The online PGCE programs do not confer QTS. The better international schools are looking for a PGCE and at least a few years of experience, preferably in the UK. |

completed the program about a year ago. landed a great job at a real international school that I 100% would not have gotten without it. The program is just meh, but seriously, its just a box to tick in an interview.
Most schools dont really care about qts. |

So how much time a week did it require?
Did you go to Nottingham? |

Good work.
What subject are you teaching?
I'd love to do this myself. It might just be time. |

Hi Big Worm.
Just bumping to see if you'd be interested in answering Hatcher's questions there. I'm interested too! |

| I did the international PGCE thing through a different UK university. It is true, it is not really a PGCE, some modules missing, no QTS. I cannot speak to the Nottingham program, but I spent a few hours a week for about 10 month to complete it. It was not online per say, but it was distance. The tutors from the UK visited China a few times. All tutorials, if one desired them, would be through email queries. I am sure a skype meeting could have been arranged but had no desire. Reading and other materials were posted for self study. I did this through my employer, so it was free, I have no clue how much it would cost. |
